PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed a high-purity hydrogen gas. SOLUTION: This fuel cell system comprises: a reform reactor 4 for producing a reformed gas containing hydrogen from a reforming material; a hydrogen separating refinement unit for selectively separating the hydrogen in the reformed gas introduced from the reform reactor 4; a fuel cell 7 for generating power by feeding a hydrogen rich gas on the secondary side of the hydrogen separating refinement unit to the side of a hydrogen electrode and the compressed air from an air compressor to the side of an air electrode; and a burner 8 for mixing the total quantity of the outlet gas on the primary side of the hydrogen separating refinement unit and part or the total quantity of the exhaust gas on the hydrogen electrode side of the fuel cell 7 with the air to burn them. The hydrogen separating refinement unit is divided into plural hydrogen separating refinement units 5A, 5B and 5C. |
