PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closure adjusting element, capable of absorbing an error in accordance with a state of closure and an underground structure construction method making use of the element. SOLUTION: First and second closure members 41 and 42 which connect an approximately U-shaped first reinforcement 44 and a second reinforcement 45 to two connecting joint members 43 are fitted to an element joint section 13, such as the existing steel made element 20 or the like, by a connecting joint section 43b through making the use of a closure-adjusting element 40, and at the same time, they are used for reinforcing members of a cast-in-place concrete to absorb errors of closure.
