The cleaning vehicle comprises a brushing-suction unit composed of two horizontal scraper arms (4) located in front of the intake to a suction nozzle (8). The nozzle is connected to a turbine by a pipe (11). The two scraper arms are arranged at an acute angle either side the vehicle longitudinal axis (5) to form a V widening from the nozzle to the lateral ends of the unit. Each scrape arm has a vertical duct shaped section.
