PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ASK modulation circuit which is small-sized, runs at low power consumption, and can perform a demodulation of a binary data signal with high precision. SOLUTION: An ASK modulation circuit has an adjustment circuit for obtaining a duty adjustment data signal by adjusting a duty ratio of an input data signal; and switching means for generating an ASK modulation signal by intermittently outputting a carrier signal of a predetermined frequency in correspondence to a logic level of the duty adjustment data signal. A cross-point deviation of a modulation signal due to influences of a nonlinear characteristic in the switching means is corrected by adjustment of the duty ratio.
