PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the traction type snow removal vehicle to travel backward. SOLUTION: The reaction type snow removal vehicle is provided with a frame equipped with the forward wheel 101 and the rearward wheel 102, a roller brush 104 supported by the frame 103 between the forward wheel 101 and the rearward wheel 102, removing snow by the own rotation, and a draw bar 20 connecting the frame 103 to a traction vehicle 150. The draw bar 20 is provided with a joint 21 connected rotatably around the substantially vertical axis with respect to the traction vehicle 150 at the tip of the bar and the basal part is supported by the frame 103 to be rotatable around the substantially vertical axis integrally with the forward wheel 101. In addition to the constitution, the vehicle is provided with a first stopper 30 fixing the rotation around the substantially vertical axis of the basal part of the draw bar 20 and a means for retracting the forward wheel to retain a state the forward wheel 101 is separated from a road face when the joint 21 is connected to the traction vehicle 150.
