PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cooling efficiency of a showcase from decreasing due to heat stored more than it needs in a heat storage-type chiller/air-conditioner in which waste heat stored in a heat-storage tank of the showcase is used for heating by the air-conditioner. SOLUTION: A heating load of the air-conditioner is determined by an external temperature detected by a temperature sensor 12. If the heating load is decreased to a certain level, the heat storage in the heat-storage medium 34 stored by condensing in a heat-storage tank 31 the high temperature gas refrigerant ejected from a compressor 21 of the showcase is stopped. The operation is switched to a normal cooling operation in which the high temperature gas refrigerant is condensed by an external heat exchanger 22. Thus, heat storage is conducted in accordance with the heating load, and the decrease in the cooling efficiency of the showcase due to heat storage can be suppressed to a minimum. |
