PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely fix a press contact terminal at specified positions. SOLUTION: A press contact connector is composed, so that the press contact terminal 13 is inserted forward from the rear into a terminal storage pit 12 of a connector housing 11. In the connector storing pit 12 of the connector housing 11, an engaging wall 17 for preventing the terminal from coming off, which faces forward, is provided. A projected piece 14 are provided on the press contact connector 13 so that it is engaged with the engaging wall 17 to prevent the press contact connector 13 from coming off backward, by bending it with a bending jig in a space in front of the engaging wall 17, after the press contact connector 13 passes on the side of the engaging wall 17 at the time of inserting of the press contact connector 13 into the terminal storing pit 12. In the space in front of the engaging wall 17 in the terminal storing pit 12, a cradle 20 is provided as a bending die for determining a bending position, when the projected piece 14 is bent with the bending jig.
