The invention discloses a new kind of polypeptide - anion exchange protein 9 and polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide and a process for producing said polypeptide by DNA recombinant methods. It also discloses the method of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various kinds of diseases, such as cancer, hemopathy, HIV infection and immune disease, and phlogosis. The antibody and antagonist and the therapeutic use of the polypeptide is also disclosed. In addition, it refers to the use of polynucleotide encoding said anion exchange protein 9.
