PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for moving body detection which can accurately detect the movement of a body even in the presence of environmental changes of lighting, etc., irrelevantly to the shape of the body, detect the movement of the body without depending upon the position relation between the ridge of the body and the borders of unit blocks, and further stably detect only the moving body even in case of environmental changes of a shake of a camera, etc., by technology for automatically extracting the movement of the body by detecting an area where movement is made from an input image photographed by using a monitor camera, etc. SOLUTION: The moving body detecting device 10b is equipped with an input image taking-out part 11, an input image holding part 12, a background image holding part 13, a background difference calculation part 14, a moving direction determination part 15, and a total judgement part 16. |
