<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To multiplex plural MPEG picture information data by relatively easily prepared means so that they can be surely reproduced on the reception side and to perform 8B/10B conversion to transmit them. SOLUTION: Individual prescribed unit divisions of plural MPEG picture information data are written in multiple memory means, and unit divisions written in the multiple memory means are sequentially read out as word string data, and the read word string data are synthesized and are subjected to 8 bits/10 bits conversion processing, and 10-bit or 20-bit word string data in generated and is subjected to transmission speed conversion processing, and an additional word data group including 20-bit word synchronizing data to which a preliminarily set code is given is inserted at intervals of a prescribed number of words to generate compound 10-bit or 20-bit word string data, and this data is converted to serial data and is transmitted.</p> |
