PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain excellent wear resistance and to prevent abnormality in images such as image blur to the utmost by incorporating a resin having an ozone permeation coefficient equal to or below a specific value and a charge transfer material in the outermost surface layer so that a specific relation is satisfied in an electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a resin having <=2×10-11 mol/cm.min.atm (at 35 deg.C) ozone permeation coefficient and the charge transfer material in the outermost surface layer and satisfies the relation; 2(LOZ)>Lab>(LOZ). In the relation, LOZ represents ozone degradation factor (cm) and Lab represents wear degradation factor (cm). In this structure, an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent wear resistance, hardly generating abnormal images such as image blur caused by the surface degradation, small in the electrostatic fatigue such as electrification delay caused by exposure to ozone at charge buildup and capable of attaining high resolution is obtained.
