SELECTIVE HYDROGENATION CATALYST SYSTEM, ITS PREPARATION AND USAGE

The present invention relates to a selective hydrogenation catalyst, its preparation and usage. The catalyst of the present invention comprises a support, a palladium-containing catalyst component and a bismuth-containing catalyst component. The catalyst system of the present invention is prepared by co-impregnating or multi-impregnating the support with a palladium-containing solution, a bismuth-containing solution and/or other cocatalysts components, and the impregnated support is dried and then calcined. The catalyst system of the present invention has significantly improved activity and selectivity over the catalyst of the prior art in the selective hydrogenation process of alkyne or diolefin, and it can also reduce the formation amount of green oil, decrease the amount of coke deposit on the catalyst, prolong the catalyst life time, and reduce the production cost.
