PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically control a reaping height with a mower by vertically moving a mower apparatus in gearing with a vertical shaking of a rear cover. SOLUTION: This mower apparatus has a shield cover covering over an upper part of a mower fitted at a rear part of a tractor in capable of elevating and lowering through a three-point link hitch mechanism vertically moving by a hydraulic mechanism and fitted with many reaping blades on an axial periphery of a rotatable shaft extending in the horizontal direction, and a rear cover is pivoted to a rear end part of the shield cover in capable of vertically revolvable, then a gage ring 16 is located at a rear end part of the rear cover 15, thus a sensor mechanism 17 sensing the vertical shaking of the rear cover 15 and transmitting the shaking to the hydraulic mechanism, then vertically moving the mower apparatus 1 in gearing with the vertical shaking of the rear cover 15, thus automatically controlling a reaping height by the mower apparatus 1 is provided. A length of the sensor mechanism 17 is made to be controllable to control the reaping height of the mower apparatus 1.
