PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building unit which can be reinforced without increasing subframes. SOLUTION: A joint portion 30 is provided immediately below a stud 21 of a subframe, and the joint portion 30 is linked to a foundation 60. Therefore, the stud 21 can function as a structural member, which leads to improved rigidity of a building unit. As a result, the building unit can be positively reinforced without addition of the subframes, to thereby reduce motion at the time of a windstorm.
