PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fumes recovering device capable of removing the fume components stuck onto a filter element by ejecting large amount of air in a short time even using the compressed air having relatively low pressure. SOLUTION: In the welding/flame cutting fumes recovering device for sucking and recovering the welding fumes generated at a welding/flame cutting working part, a filter 7 is constituted of a cylindrical cartridge type filter. A Venturi forming member 10 is fitted at the communicating side of the cartridge type filter 7 to a blower 8. An air jetting nozzle 11 for jetting intermittently cleaning air is arranged on the downstream side of the sucked flow of the Venturi forming member 10 toward the Venturi forming member 10. The space at the connecting side of a fumes suction pipe in a casing and the outside of the casing are communicatingly connected by interposing a negative pressure control valve 12.
