PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double winding winch having a compact configuration and capable of pulling a plurality of ropes and adjusting an imbalance between traction speed of a plurality of ropes and load automatically. SOLUTION: This double winding winch is provided with a winding drum 10 having a plurality of outer peripheral grooves 1a, 1b and a rope stretched around it per outer peripheral groove. The winding drum is provided with grip rollers 2a, 2b pressing the rope against the outer peripheral grooves, sheaves 4a, 4b which guide the rope into the outer peripheral grooves and give a pressing force to the grip rollers in accordance with load applied on the rope, and connection members 6a, 6b connecting the sheaves with the grip rollers per outer peripheral groove.
