摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a technical means which can measure the relative relation of a workpiece a cutter at a high accuracy at the outer side of a partition wall to surround a machining area, without the seal structure and the like of the partition wall being complicated, in a device to realize a high accuracy cutting by correcting an error of the relative positional relation generated between the workpiece and the cutter of a machine tool. SOLUTION: In one side of a work holding table 4 and a cutter holding table 6 of a machine tool, a measuring plane 9 parallel to the relative movement plane of the both holding tables 4 and 6 is provided, a belt form of nonmagnetic material 10 slinder in the direction orthogonal to the direction to detect the displacement is buried to the measuring plane 9, to be flush therewith, and a magnetic body detecting sensor 14 opposing to the measuring plane 9 is provided at the other side. The nonmagnetic body detecting sensor 14 moves parallel to the measuring plane 9 opposing to the measuring plane 9, when the work holding table 4 and the cutter holding table 6 move relatively in the two-dimensional plane.
