The invention relates to a device comprising a container (1) for storing a medium to be dispensed and a dispensing device (2) which is connected to the container and serves to vaporize, spray or pump the medium stored in the container. Said device is characterized in that the dispensing device is provided with a fill hole (23) through which the container can be filled with the medium to be dispensed by the dispensing device, and in that the dispensing device is configured in such a way that a medium filled into the fill hole passes through the dispensing device and reaches the container via a hole through which the medium to be dispensed by the dispensing device is also transported from the container to the dispensing device. The device described in the invention is further characterized in that the fill hole, through which the container can be filled with the medium to be dispensed by the dispensing device, is situated at an angle to the horizontal when the device is in a vertical position. In this way the container can be filled at all times simply, rapidly and cleanly.
