PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized, high performance surface acoustic wave branching device that consists of two transmission filters resulting from dividing the transmission band of a transmission filter and a reception filter whose band is not divided. SOLUTION: The branching device includes transmission filters which have different pass bands 205 and a reception filter 210. The transmission filters 205 are provided with a 1st filter circuit 207 with a 1st pass band resulting from the division of the pass band and with a 2nd filter circuit 209 with a 2nd pass band resulting from the division of the pass band.
