An electrical plug-in connector for a large number of plug contacts in compact arrangement, including a multi-socketed plug (3), and on the device side a plug-pin receptacle (2) with a plug-collar (ST) for receiving the multi-socketed plug. The outer casing of the plug (3) is designed as a sealing cap (7) which receives the socket housing (3) with the plug sockets (27,28,29). Releasable locking devices are provided for the multi-socketed plug (3) and include two locking keys (4) which have key-heads with gripping troughs (23) on the free ends of their spring arms (22) extending to the narrow faces of the plug (3). The locking keys together with their key-heads (5) overlap the upper edge of the plug-collar (ST) of the plug-pin receptacle (2).
