<p>PURPOSE:To improve the memory efficiency of a learning table by using a retrieval key table for retrieving the learning table in addition to the learning table. CONSTITUTION:When the head part of a rolled material 6 exits from a finishing mill 5 and actual result data required for learning update such as an actual rolling load and the temperature, etc., of the rolled material are measured, a total control computer 1 performs learning calculation. The computed learning values are stored in an auxiliary storage device 8. Thus, the learning values of a manufacture process having no learning values are automatically generated in a learning value file 8 and retrieval keys for reading them out are generated in the retrieval key file 8, so as a variety of manufacture processes are performed, learning values of new manufacture processes are added to the learning value file 8, retrieval keys are also added to the retrieval key file 8, and the learning values of manufacture processes which already have operation actual results are learnt and updated. Consequently, the memory efficiency of the learning table can be improved.</p> |
