A small sample quantity of perfume or fragrance is held in a dispenser which enfolds a substrate medium (CA) holding the sample of a first perfume or fragrance (D1). The substrate medium (CA) may be joined or bonded to a product (P1) such as a book or sales brochure, an electric and/or magnetic information storage device, and/or packing. The substrate medium (CA) may incorporated a material (MA) capable of absorbing fluid, and may be recharged with the fragrance or perfume (D1) as required. The substrate medium may incorporate a self-Adhesive tab securing it within the base holder (BA).
