PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily connect a hollow extruded material to tubing or barstock by pressing the tubing or barstock into a hollow part formed at a recessed bottom part of the hollow extruded material, partially or over the whole length so as to have almost the same outline shape as the inserted tubing or barstock. SOLUTION: A heat sink manufactured using an extruded material of aluminum is formed of strip protruding parts 1a and recessed parts 2a, and the diameter (d) of a hollow part is to be equal to or slightly smaller than the outer diameter d1 of a copper pipe 3 to be inserted therein. When the copper pipe 3 is pressed into the heat sink, the spaces of the protruding parts 1a of the heat sink are enlarged. Slight tolerance difference at the time of extruding the extruded material is therefore absorbed by spring force at the strip protruding and recessed parts so as to obtain appropriate connection. |
