<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently release heat generated during the use of a battery, and exhibit a stable function hardly causing air leakage through a rise in internal pressure by closing both ends of the inner cylinder and outer cylinder of a roll electrode with ring-like end surface plates, inserting a terminal to the end surface plates in an insulated state, and bonding the end surface plates through welding. SOLUTION: A strip electrode having a positive electrode and a negative electrode which are mutually isolated by a separator is manufactured, and this strip electrode is wound on an inner cylinder 2 for manufacturing a roll electrode 1. The roll electrode 1 is housed in an outer cylinder 4, and both ends are blocked by end surface plates 5. The connecting parts of the end surface plates 5 with the inner cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder 4 are bonded to manufacture a cylindrical secondary battery. The electrode tub of the roll electrode 1 is bonded with the internal terminal of the end surface plate 5 through ultrasonic welding to form a secondary terminal. The internal terminal and the external terminal are electrically insulated from the end surface plates 5. After an outer cylinder/end surface plate connecting part 9 and a cylinder/end surface plate connecting part 10 have been bonded by laser welding, the electrolyte of the secondary battery is injected.</p> |
