Engine throttle connection with shaft bores and throttle valve

The throttle valve (5) partly encloses the valve shaft (4) and a driver engaging a recess (13) taken out along the valve shaft (4) is clamped to the shaft by springs (10,10a,11,11a). The shaft has a flattened area to which the springs are pre-tensioned. The valve is fitted on the far side of this flattened area to enclose the shaft as specified. The valve shaft can have two flattened areas in roof shape, and the springs are arranged opposite one another. The springs should form tongues integrated with the valve (5) and the valve in turn is recessed (8,9) at right angles to the shaft (4). Reinforcement can be in rib shape or again in the form of grooves worked into the valve (5). The valve has an angled edge and is made of spring steel. A plastics sealing ring is sprayed onto the angled valve edge.
