PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication to satisfy a digital interface standard of an SD(standard definition) format in communication equipment with a synchronous communication mode like a transmission and reception standard of digital data of the IEEE 1394 standards. SOLUTION: This transfer equipment is constituted of a transfer starting point control means 52 to control transfer starting points of a source packet and a free packet to convert a transfer timing of an internal bus of a digital device into the timing which is already set to the communication standard, a storage means 53 to store the source packet and a transfer means 54 to insert and transfer the free packet while the source packet stored in the storage means is transferred by control of the transfer starting point control means. The transfer method is executed by a signal output stage to receive input of a specified signal and a mode signal to transfer a stream of the source packet and to output a transfer reference signal so as to be matched to the specified signal and the mode signal and a packet transfer stage to receive input of the transfer reference signal and a cycle sync generated for every prescribed time and to transfer the packet according to a prescribed rule. |
