Apparatus for connecting light at two separate circular current carrying rails

The apparatus is used to connect a light to two current carrying rails which are separate from each other and arranged one above the other. The rails have a circular cross-section. The apparatus has a contact element (1) with two perpendicular metallic cylinders (2,3). These are electrically insulated from each other by an insulating plate (4) and are fixedly connected to each other. The cylinders (2,3) have central bores (5,5') for clamping the current rails (6,7) with grub screws (8) and to receive a insulated pin screw (9) and a contact plug (10). Each cylinder also has a recess (11) into which the current rail is inserted. The apparatus also has a cylindrical transition element (15) fastened in the clamp sleeve (13), and an inner, central contact plug (10). A sleeve (16) is rotatably fastened in the transition element (15). The sleeve (16) has horizontal and tiltable light elements (17).
