PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission efficiency of image data that has much quantity information by nullifying a time-out signal from a timer which counts an occupied time of a bus and continuously using a general PCI bus that can fast transmit image data when image data is transmitted. SOLUTION: A CPU 2, HDD 3, a decoder 5, etc., which constitute a video server device are connected through a PCI bus 6A that is equipped with the maximum transmission rate 133MByte/s. For instance, when image data that is read from the HDD 3 is transmitted to the decoder 5, a PCI driver 6D sends address data which designates a PCI driver 6F as a transmission destination and image data that is read from a buffer 7 to the bus 6A. Here, the driver 6D which is equipped with a switch 6DC turns it off when it sends image data and cuts off a time-out signal TO when a latency timer 6DB finishes the maximum count. |
