<p>A document shredder (1) with a receiving bag (4) arranged below the cutting mechanism (2), on which a vibratory mechanism (7, 11) is arranged for compacting the shreddings. The vibratory mechanism (7, 11) has a vertically moveable vibration plate (7), on which the deceiving bag 4 rests such that by means of alternating downwards and upwards movement of the activating arm (9) a vertical vibratory motion of the vibration plate (7) can be obtained and thereby a vibratory compaction of the shreddings in the receiving bag 4.</p> |
