Production method in which in order to produce the brush body (12) a brush body support part (3) and a bristle anchoring part (4) are injection moulded one after the other. In the second injection moulding sequence the two parts are joined together. The bristle tufts (5) are stuffed into place without an anchor section. The anchoring section is formed by the elastic widening of the fold (9) of the tufts. The plastics anchoring part is injection moulded with receiving holes (7a) for the bristle tufts and each hole has a narrowed section (16).
