MEDICAL STETHOSCOPE MEMBRANE PROTECTION DEVICE USEFUL FOR CREATING A MICROBIOLOGICAL SHIELD

A medical stethoscope membrane protection device useful for creating a microbiological shield between a patient and a medical practitioner and between two consecutive patients is described, wherein the device has a planar pad (1) adaptable to the stethoscope membrane and having at least a partial adhesive coating (2) on one of the sides thereof. The pad (1) is pre-cut from a non woven material which has received an antiseptic treatment, while the adhesive (2) is of a type suitable to ensure that the pad (1) is temporarily retained on the stethoscope membrane throughout an auscultation and can, after a single use, be removed to be disposed of, said pad (1) being further supported, prior to its application on the stethoscope membrane, by a removable protective film (3, 3A, 3B).
