PURPOSE: To obtain a means for simply preventing the deterioration of characteristics of a sintered compact located on the uppermost stage and the generation of sintering crack in the sintering of an MnZn based ferrite molding. CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing the MnZn based ferrite by molding a pulverized, granulated and calcined raw material and sintering the molding, a sintering fencing surrounding the molding is provided at the time of sintering so as to have the height higher than the molding, a gas discharge port is provided on the sintering fencing and a ceramic thin plate is placed on the molding located on the uppermost stage to sinter the molding. |
