<p>A reversal preventive device includes a hold member (26) arranged concentrically with a rotary member (20) of the reel rotatable in linking with the rotation of a handle (12) and formed integrally with a reel main body (10), a plurality of rolling members (30) respectively held in a plurality of hold holes respectively formed in the circumstantial direction of the hold member in such a manner that they are so opened up as to be in communication with the inner and outer peripheral sides of the hold member, the rolling members (30) being contactable with the inner peripheral side of the rotary member (20) to thereby perform a wedge action on the rotation of the rotary member in one direction, and an outer frame (32) placed on the outer peripheral side of the hold member (26) to restrict the outward movements of the rolling members (30). The holding structure for holding the rolling members can be manufactured with high strength and dimensional precision, and the reversal preventive device can provide a smooth and positive wedge action. <IMAGE></p> |
