A sterilisation device installed on a carriage (1) comprises a nozzle pipe (21) on which several nozzles (20) are arranged at equal intervals, a drive unit for varying the spraying angle of the nozzles, a control unit for control of the spraying duration, a supply unit (71) for the supply of disinfectant in a disinfectant supply channel of the nozzle pipe (21), at least one tank (70) for accommodation of the disinfectant and a control unit for control of the drive unit. The carriage is moved to a desired point, for example in a hospital, and the disinfectant is sprayed automatically in all spatial directions. The droplet diameter of the sprayed disinfectant does not exceed 10 mu m, so that fine atomisation of the disinfectant and uniform sterilisation of the room is achieved. <IMAGE>
