The tray holders consist of cross-pieces (21) with support arms (42) which are provided with hooks (41), staggered and angularly offset through 180 DEG on a drive shaft (15) driven by a motor (11, 12) arranged in a base (10) supporting a removable hood (20) for enclosing the assembly and guiding the end of the shaft (15) by means of a roller bearing (24) in the upper hood portion (23). Safety devices prevent operation while the hood (20) is not in position and prevent said hood from being removed until the centrifuge has come to a complete stop. |
