发明名称 IN-PIPE SELF-TRAVELING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the inspection and the like of a small bore pipeline by forming a double cylinder body of a fixed cylinder and a rotary cylinder, then mounting tires, brought into pressure contact with the inner wall of the pipeline, to the outer periphery of the rotary cylinder in such a way as to be inclined by a specified angle to the longitudinal direction of the pipeline, and making them self-travel by the rotation of the rotary cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A double cylinder body 6 is formed of an inner fixed cylinder 1 and an outer rotary cylinder 5, and both cylinders 1, 5 are in contact through bearings 4. Plural tires 8 are mounted on the outer periphery of the rotary cylinder 5 in such a way as to be in pressure contact with the inner wall 7a of a pipeline 7 and in such a state as to be inclined by a specified angle to the longitudinal direction of the pipeline 7. With this constitution, the tires 8 rolling in association with the rotation of the rotary cylinder 5 advance rectilinearly with spiral driving force imparted thereto on the whole, and the fixed cylinder 1 advances rectilinearly without rotation. An in-pipe self-traveling device 10 is obtained being provided with the whole above- mentioned constitution, and if this in-pipe self-traveling device 10 is made self-travel in the pipeline 7, with inspection equipment 2 such as a compact TV camera fitted into the hollow chamber 3 in the fixed cylinder 1, the in-pipe self-traveling device becomes a micro robot to enable inspection in the pipeline 7.
