<p>This invention relates to a multi-color electrophoresis scanning method which comprises labeling selected DNA sequencing fragments with different mole fractions of fluorophores, electrophoresing the labeled sequencing fragments in a single lane to cause separation by sizes and determining the position of said fragments in the overall sequence by detecting the ratio of intensity of fluorescence at two detection wavelengths from said labeled fragments.</p> |
