<p>PURPOSE:To easily select various functions of the semiconductor device by rewriting information of a writable or rewritable ROM and deciding combination of input terminals and output terminals based on the information. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor device consists of a data decoder 101 to write external information to an electrical erasable ROM 103, an address decoder 102 deciding to which address the information is written, a controller 104 controlling the write/erasure of the information and a switch 105 or the like selecting a signal lien based on the information of the ROM 103. At first, the write or erasure to/from the ROM 3 is selected through a write control terminal 108. An address is set by an address bus 107 and the information given to the switch 105 is written in or erased from the ROM 103 through the data bus 106. The buses 106, 107 and a write control terminal 108 are led to the outside of the semiconductor device and then the write or erasure to/from the ROM 103 is attained.</p> |
