PURPOSE:To rapidly and efficiently collect the deposit, dust, etc., in a pipe by repeating collection including centrifugal separation several times and performing humidification, flocculation and collection of dust by a vertical spiral flow and collection of dust by a horizontal spiral flow respectively at least once. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical water storage box 20, an inverted truncated conical cyclone main body 21, a dust-contg. gas inlet pipe 22 and an exhaust pipe 23 for the dust-free gas are provided. The inlet pipe is connected to the periphery of the upper cylindrical part 21a of the cyclone main body. The end of the exhaust pipe 23 is positioned near the lower part of the cylindrical part. Water is stored in the box 20 to a certain level when in use. The dust-contg. gas introduced from the inlet pipe 22 is spiraled along the inner periphery of the cylindrical part 21a, the dust is collected near the inner wall of the main body 21 by the centrifugal force, gradually moved downward, dipped into the water and collected, and the gas freed of dust is discharged upward from the exhaust pipe 23. |
