PURPOSE: To obtain a high tensile strength by suitably deciding a direction of an injection port having a specific length, width and depth disposed substantially parallel to an axial direction of an article to be molded to a mold cavity, thereby forming a spiral accordion-like fiber oriented surface in the article. CONSTITUTION: The article 120 is manufactured by using an injection port 130 having specific geometrical shape and position. A shape of the port 130 having a long slot state has a length as near as a length of a main axis of the article 120 and a width of about 30 to 70% of the width of the article, further a sufficient depth to decide an initial orienting direction of the fiber to the flowing direction of a molding material, and its position is substantially perpendicular to the main axis of the finally manufactured article. At the time of injecting the fiber-reinforced material in the die, a whorled state and an accordion-like fiber oriented surface is formed to obtain a high mechanical strength. |
