FLEXIBLE PLASTIC BAG WITH TEARABLE HANDLE HAVING SLIDE CLOSURE A reusable flexible plastic bag 10 is provided with a handle 28 which serves to carry the bag 10 and to reseal it. The bag is manufactured from two webs: a web 12 from which the bag panels 16, 18 are formed and a web 24 from which a loop handle 28 is formed. The top end of the bag is not provided with a gusset. The loop handle 28 is secured to the bag panels 16, 18 and is provided with a frangible region 58 which can be broken to form two separate handle portions. The handle portions 28 are releasably joined by mating slide closure structure 46, 48. The slide closure joint 46, 48 can be peeled away by pulling the handle portions apart thereby providing access to the folded top end of the bag. The top end of the bag may be provided with perforations 22 which may be broken to gain access to the bag 10 contents, The bag may be resealed by means of the handle slide closure 46, 48. |
