PURPOSE:To simplify pressure control within a steam separator so as to enhance the efficiency of a fuel cell power generation system by providing steam releasing piping with a pressure regulating device for regulating pressure within the steam separator. CONSTITUTION:Steam releasing piping 10 is connected to a steam separator 13 independently of reformed steam piping 6 connected to the raw material supply side 12 of a reformer 1 and this piping 10 is provided with a pressure regulating device 11 for regulating pressure within the steam separator 13. When pressure and temperature within the steam separator 13 increase due to sudden lowering of load, the pressure regulating device 11 provided to the steam releasing piping 10 is actuated to release transient extra steam in the steam separator 13 to the outside of the steam separator 13. Thus pressure within the steam separator 13 is constantly maintained at a proper value; a efficient fuel cell power generation system is thereby obtained. |
