<p>A roller bearing (10) has inner and outer rings (11, 12) with rollers (13) therebetween. The rollers (13) are preferably set at an angle to the bearing axis (B). The rollers have concave exterior surfaces (15) of asymmetric configuration and these contact convex inner surfaces (16, 17) of the rings (11, 12) in a manner to impose a positive skew force on the rollers to ensure the bearing is self-tracking during use.</p> |
