PURPOSE:To simultaneously perform the confirmation of a catalog and an order entry job by using the code data including a material menu to perform the communication to a material center from the terminal side. CONSTITUTION:A system user confirms a menu of a catalog system including the commodities to be ordered and displayed on the screen of a personal computer at terminal 1 and then selects a desired menu to place orders. The displayed menu contains plural necessary materials and therefore the user can order the necessary materials in a batch. In an ordering job the only the code data corresponding the menu pointed by the terminal is transmitted. A center process part 4 evolves the code data received via a data network 3 into the corresponding plural materials and performs an order receiving process of an order entry system. Thus the communication cost required for ordering jobs can be reduced. |
