PURPOSE:To remove a condition jump, and to determine excitation phase only by logical operation by computing the variation of the pointer of an excitation pattern table by the logical operation of the direction of encoded rotation and an excitation system. CONSTITUTION:The logical operation of the direction of rotation and an excitation system is conducted in an accumulator 3, and the variation of an excitation pointer is computed. A current excitation pointer is added to the variation of the excitation pointer, and the AND of the sum and 7 is obtained. Offset from a head address in the pattern table of the next excitation-phase pattern table 1 is calculated at the stage. A data displaying the offset in the accumulator 3 is written to the excitation pointer of a RAM 2, and the content of an address separated only by the content of the accumulator 3 from the head address of the excitation pattern table is extracted as the next excitation pattern data.
