The azo dyes of the formula <IMAGE> which contain 1 to 2 water-solubilising sulphonic acid, sulphato or thiosulphato groups and in which K is the radical of a coupling component of the benzene or naphthalene series or of the heterocyclic series, R1 is a group of the formula -CN, -CON(R4)R5, -COR6, -COOR7, -CONHNHR8 or -XO2R9 and R2 and R3 are each independently of the other hydrogen, or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10-alkyl or aryl radical, R4, R5 and R8 being independently of one another hydrogen or a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10-alkyl, C5-C7-cycloalkyl, phenyl or naphthyl radical and R6, R7 and R9 each being a substituted or unsubstituted C1-C10-alkyl, C5-C7-cycloalkyl, phenyl or naphthyl radical, produce dyeings having good fastness properties on nitrile-containing or hydroxyl-containing fibre materials.
