Substrates of metal, glass, plastic and the like are effectively bonded together with an adhesive composition that is the reaction product of a solution of copolymer of an alkyl ester of an alpha , beta -ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and a hydroxyalkyl ester of an alpha , beta -ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid in a polyahl having a molecular weight of 200 or greater such as polypropylene glycol and a low molecular weight polyahl such as ethylene glycol with an organic polyisocyanate such as 4,4'-methylenediphenyl diisocyanate. |
