PURPOSE:To achieve a quicker analysis, by injecting a sample into a microplate for immuno analysis to automatically transfer the microplate to sections for injection of a reagent, agitation, incubation, washing and detection of reaction. CONSTITUTION:An immuno analyzer is provided with a sample injecting section 1, reagent injecting section 2, washing section 3, agitating section 4, incubating section 5 and detecting section 6. First, an operator sets a microplate on the sample injecting section 1 and a sample (serum or the like) is automatically injected into the microplate set. Then, the microplate is transferred to the reagent injecting section 2 to inject a reagent thereinto. Then, the sample is stirred up with the agitating section 4, incubated at the incubating section 5 for a specified time and then, reaction between the sample and the reagent is detected with the detecting section 6. The microplate is cleaned up at the washing section 3. Action of each section is controlled by a control section 8. Thus, the microplate is transferred automatically to the individual sections, thereby enabling immunoanalysis quickly at a high accuracy.
