PURPOSE:To obtain a dry analyzing element for determining CPK activity having performance stably maintained even at high temperature, by containing a formazan dye forming tetrazolium salt and gelatin in a water permeable layer having liquid contacting relation with a porous support. CONSTITUTION:Preferably a porous layer, water permeable layer having liquid contacting relation with the above-mentioned porous layer and a water impermeable and light permeable support are successively and wholly laminated and creatine phosphoric acid, ADP, thiol compound which is creatine kinase activating agent, e.g. N-acetyl cysteine, glucose, hexokinase, G6PDH, NAD<+> and electron transfer agent are contained in the above-mentioned porous layer or water permeable layer and at least one of the above-mentioned water permeable layer consists of gelatin having 16g/m<2> specific weight and further contains a formazan dye forming tetrazolium salt such as nitrotetrazolium blue.
