PURPOSE:To improve capability and prevent the fluctuation of a supply quantity in the titled control method used for supplying pulverized materials and the like to the tuyere of a blast furnace by starting a supply process for other tanks when the materials in a pressure tank in a supply process have reached the predetermined stock level and enabling a tank through the supply process to receive the bulk materials in the meantime. CONSTITUTION:When bulk materials have reached the predetermined stock level in a pressure tank 1-3 in a supply process, with the predetermined quantity of the bulk materials stored in pressure tanks 1-1 and 1-2, the pressure tank 1-1 starts the supply of the bulk materials. As a result, it follows that a supply process takes place in both pressure tanks 1-3 and 1-1 in parallel, and the process in the pressure tank 1-3 soon comes to an end. And when the bulk materials in the pressure tank 1-1 have reached the predetermined stock level, a supply process starts in the pressure tank 1-2. And the bulk materials are received by the pressure tank 1-3 by the time of completion of the supply process in the pressure tank 1-1. According to the aforesaid constitution, capability is improved and the supply quantity is stabilized.
